The 35th English meeting was a different experience for the 15 members. We had 2 new cool members: Sahba and Bamshad. We sort of ;) met each other at Sarband square and headed for a restaurant for breakfast. After 30 minutes of walking uphill we found a suitable place near a few ducks which were quacking like each 10 minutes. I guess we were there for some 90 minutes and a few more minutes waiting for 3 heavy smokers whose membership is going to be deactivated sooner or later! Well I dont like hookahs...

Me taking picture of the guys fooling around down there!

Did you know that this staute was built before the revolution?

Monuntains and I!

Wow!

The noisy ducks!
Two years ago (in 2007), English Meetings were started in Tehran, Iran, with the aim of helping English learners improve their general knowledge of English. The first meeting was held in Mellat park and we were some 15 guys there...
English meetings are held weekly (or biweekly) in Tehran parks, coffee shops, institutes and wherever I find suitable depending on the number of the participants.
I usually post a discussion topic/question(s) before the meeting and it'll be shown up in the front page of the website.
